Thank You and Reminders

Thank you to all the parents that took the time out of their busy schedules to meet with me about your child's academic progress this school year.  It was my pleasure meeting each and everyone of you.  If you were unable to meet with me at your conference time, please contact me sometime this week to schedule another time that we can meet.  It is my goal to meet with 100% of my parents.  If you are unable to come in at all due to other conflicts, we can always schedule a phone conference.

Just a reminder that we will not have school on Friday, October 28th.  This is our staff compensation day.  Monday, October 31st is our pumpkin investigations day. If you were planning on donating a pumpkin for this day, please be sure to bring in by Thursday, October 27th.  I'll add lots of pictures to the blog next week of our investigations day.   As a reminder, students are NOT to come to school dressed in any costumes on this day.

Below are a few pictures from our learning these past few weeks.

Miss Clevenger explaining our science experiment.  We took a thermometer and placed it in ice and then took another thermometer and placed in a baggie around cotton balls and placed it in ice.  We were discovering how an animal's fur helps protect it in cold weather.
